"Very happy booking Lana Beds. The space was nice and clean, comfortable and well looked after, everything was as it should be. The staff were great, kind and helpful, one of them, Paw saw I was tired after arriving on a late flight and brought me a hot drink - very thoughtful - thank you!"

"Great accommodating staff. Everything is very close. It is always easy to get a taxi/grab/tuk tuk. There is a ton of food options. The Sunday night walking street market is right down the street. All of this with a safe comfortable environment. I highly recommend "

"I am genuinely disappointed with my experience at this hostel. I booked and paid for a family room three days in advance, but when my family and I arrived, we were informed that there was no room available. We waited for 3 hours, and the staff did not provide any assistance; they simply stated that there was no room and walked away from the reception. This was incredibly frustrating, and we ultimately had to find another hotel over 40 minutes away, which completely disrupted our travel plans....

"Great hotel in great location. They offer free parking so you don't need to buy that package in Expedia, I did LOL. parking is across the street, through alley in front of a small Buddha temple. Or if you lucky, street parking in front of hotel (good luck). Hotel restaurant food were all great. Online menu showed cocktails but when we asked, if I understand correctly, only on certain days. Everything was great. Staff were great. Would stay there again. "
"I had a wonderful stay at U Nimman in Chiang Mai. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Nimmanhaemin with so many cafes, restaurants, and shops within walking distance, which made exploring the area very easy.
The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very comfortable. My room was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. What really stood out was the staff—they were incredibly warm, friendly, and always helpful throughout my visit.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Chiang Mai."
"Can tell the hotel was once a grand place but had since deteriorated. It’s far from the city center and we use Grab mostly. The staff were helpful and we used their travel assistance to go sightseeing. "
"Great value for money, considering the pool villa comes with a huge personal pool and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Was also not expecting the many fantastic opportunities for birding, right in my villa. The resort grounds are pretty with lush hillside views that you will want to photograph. The only potential negative is that there is only one restaurant, with dishes that are hit and miss. But I did really enjoy some of the Thai food on offer. As this resort has been around for some time, expect some minor wear and tear, but these were mostly non-issues for me. Overall, a wonderful escape!"
"hotel was immaculate, right down the street from the markets! I loved the location, felt safe, everything was amazing and clean! Rooftop restaurant a little disappointed in the options they had, wish they had more but the drinks were great!"
"Hotel is located very conveniently and many eateries, bar, cafe and also near to famous oldest night bazaar. And breakfast spread is decent and delicious. That’s where the good points are.
We were allotted a big room facing car park. The room badly needed a major renovation. Controls for the room were from the 90s and part of the buttons have peeled off. Bedding is basic as you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Maintenance is not up to speed as well as shower screen door was squeaky and thankfully it did not fall off.
The hotel does not carry Movenpick standard when I compare it to the one that I have stayed in Saigon some years back.
Overall I would not recommend booking it if you are looking for Movenpick standard.
