"RarinJinda is absolutely the place to stay in Chiang Mai! We had plans & accommodations to go be in Chiang Rai after our stay in Chiang Mai but decided to stick around after seeing how wonderful RarinJinda was. The staff is wonderful & grounds are amazing - a true oasis in a bustling city. "

"Nothing special about this resort, it seems to be mainly for Chinese tourist groups. We were the only two European tourists staying there and it was eerily quiet after breakfast when the Chinese groups had left. Hotel was quite old and run down, not renovated for a while. "Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts). The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns.
