"Amazing ! Everything from the facilities, the view, the staff, and the breakfast. Plenty of parking and they also have daily planned activities that you can participate."

"We had the place to ourselves! It was like our own private resort…and the staff made it even more so! Cannot wait to return for a longer stay…and higher leaps off the cliffs into the ocean!"

Staff especially reception staff were really helpful. Didn't like: upgrading to partial sea view was disappointing."

"The hotel is centrally located in Funchal close to the mall, grocery store and the boardwalk. The kitchen is great with a full fridge to store snacks and water. The restaurant downstairs offer a fantastic lunch for great price of 12 euro. The included breakfast is awesome with a great al la carte section breads, cheese and fruit. All staff was great but Kaitalin was fabulous and created a beautiful driving tour for us along the coastline!"

There was an overwhelming smell of vinegar in the room, and the patio was covered in ants, which really detracted from the experience. We were also shocked to discover that pool towels cost €10. Charging guests extra for something as basic as a pool towel feels unreasonable and left a poor impression. We can’t comment on the breakfast itself, as we had to check out before 7 a.m. We did,...
