"The staff were friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do enough for you. Location was good for local towns and ideal for visits to Loch Ken. "

"Nicole and Malcolm make Craigmount so special. Book themed bedrooms to reflect Wigtown, and a lovely sitting room to read or eatch TV. Our double bedded room with ensuite overlooked the garden. The room was quite compact, and made more so by our largish suitcases. If you have big bags, perhaps book a family room. All the rooms are accessible via stairs. The pre-ordered breakfast was freshly cooked and wonderful. Dinner options in town or nearby were limited, except to drive, especially mid-week....

"We found the B&B to be delightful and peaceful as well as convenient to the ferry. We could not have asked for a more pleasant and cordial host!!!"

"We enjoyed our stay very much. We enjoyed the conversations we had with our hosts, Esther and Ian, both of whom when out of their way to welcome us and help us. We especially enjoyed walking from the B&B to Threave Castle and exploring the nature preserve. We were traveling without a car and had no problem getting to the property by bus."
