"After the warm welcome, we were shown to our room and all the room facilities were explained properly. The property has so much fascinating history and the current owners have gone thru great lengths to keep it all in the best conditions. We loved the breakfast with a great choice. "The hotel is lovely. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Our room was large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The bee shaped chocolates on the bed was a nice touch. The only downside was the noisy pub/bar opposite the hotel on Oxford Road, the music didn’t stop till 3am. Although this has nothing to do with the hotel, it is worth bearing in mind if you’re a light sleeper as the windows are not insulated enough to keep the noise out. "
