Avoid this location!
Don’t book this location, their AC is not working on many rooms. They didn’t let us change the room, AC was confirmed broken, all family rooms are booked… we could see many windows are open through the rooms

Poor customer service, no attempt to communiccate even slowly in french (no english). Wouldnt honour the included breakfast we booked.

Great budget pit stop travelling south on motorway
Premiere Classe offers no-frills budget rooms but you get a clean place with bathroom and a comfy bed for a very reasonable price, breakfast was good too with good coffee, orange juice, croissants, bread, yogurts etc. OK the room is small and no view, and it's not in an exciting area but as a pit stop it's great. Staff were friendly

Resection has to change the behaviour..we pay too
If you book through hotel.com unfortunately you get the left over you're treated as a second best customer so you have to insist on order to get a better room and service unfortunately. Sometimes it works sometimes the roles are set !

Great pit stop motel just off motorway
We went for the superior air conditioned rooms which were still great value. This is a budget motel so rooms and bathroom are very tight but the bed was comfortable and the area was quiet. Breakfast was good esp great coffee and orange juice

catastrophic - stay away from this hotel
The reception shall be open until 9 PM and when we arrived 8:50 no one was there Rooms prepaid but didn’t get access which means screwed Hotels.com tries to contact to sort out and that is where it is now, lost money for 3 rooms Emergency number displayed reaches a person somewhere that doesn’t speak English

Pluses: Affordable. Staff at front desk were friendly and spoke English. Room was clean. Air conditioning! Shower had a door (some only have curtains). Parking lot is gated at night. Minuses: Wi-fi did not work in our room (was ok outside, and in restaurant area). Location is a bit removed from downtown. Bathroom is compact. We would likely stay here again if in the area.

Great place for a great price.
It’s outside of Lyon. I had my car so I did not check for public transportation. Small bedroom, which I did not mind as I expect that in France. The hotel staff was very helpful. The place is very good and I highly recommend it. Better than the photos.

Great pit stop
This is a cheap and cheerful hotel just off the motorway which has a comfy bed but tiny bathroom, fine for us as we weren't looking for luxury. Breakfast was continental but good. Great value for money. Front desk stays open to 10.30 pm, after that I think you'll need an access code

Had to book outside of Lyon for the Women's World Cup. Decent hotel for the cost, not much in the immediate area but really close to a bus going straight to the old town (25 min ride). Good value for money, clean, comfy beds, polite staff.

Very good value hotel in Lyon Sud
This was a very pleasant budget hotel with great staff who were very obliging. It was very clean and quiet except for the squeaky doors. Some WD40 would have solved that problem,

Good basic pit-stop
This is a value hotel but great if all you're looking for is a cheap pit stop just off the motorway. We found it comfortable and quiet, our room had air conditioning, and a tiny but functional bathroom with toilet and shower. We also had the breakfast which is a good deal for a few euros with great coffee and orange juice. We've been here before because of it's location, and we are always impressed with the very smiling reception staff, which is another reason we come back - a rarity in France!

Good hotel, bad location
I would have rated it 4 stars, because it is a decent hotel, but when I returned late one night, the front gate was closed and the card reader didn't work outside. Seems like a simple enough issue to fix. So I had to wait 30 minutes outside until another guest arrived. And then the card reader for the front door didn't work. Other than that, the location is terrible if you are trying to visit Lyon. 30 minute bus ride, lots of hassle. The room itself is ok except for the bathroom which is tiny. So tiny it's hard to shower in.

We arrived then the room given was unkept laundry lying every where on floor cigarettes stompies by the door we asked for non smoking room we moved to another it was same thing all most 3 rooms were unkempt the fourth one we had no choice but to take it I will not stay in that hotel again Thursday night a lovely receptionist was a great help to us you need to improve the level of domestic stuff

Convenient stop over after long drive
Hotel is in a good and quiet area and great location to stop over when travelling North to South. This is the second time I have stayed in one of the hotels in this chain and it was a great experience; friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, not too far from amenities, safe and free parking. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Cheap motel, awful location if you don't drive
Last minute booking for a Euro 2016 game in Lyon. The hotel is a standard motel - clean and comfortable beds, a bathroom, and free parking and wifi. For the price the hotel is fine. The staff were helpful and generally accommodating. The big drawback of this place is its location. Unless you require the parking, it's a huge pain to get back at night. During the daytime you can take a bus then change to the metro (number 15 bus, change at Gare d'Oullins) or stay on the 15 in to Perrache, depending on where you're going. Once evening hits, your options are basically limited to taxis and Uber. Our Ubers cost us $20-30 on different nights. Reception closes at 9pm but you can check in at a machine at the gate providing you have a reservation, and you get an access code for the gate from that. Quite simple once we figured it out, but it took a while as we arrived after a few beers! We weren't the only ones there trying to get the machine to let us in! But as I say, quite simple once we figured it out, though it did reject two of my credit cards initially. In summary though, I wouldn't stay here again unless I was really on a budget and I didn't intend to stay out late.

we spent a night on our way from Calais to nice and another night on our way back. you exactly get what u pay for. the staff are nice , they easily agreed to change our room as the one they gave us first smelt bad. they room was a bit small for us if we were to stay for our whole holiday, but it did the job for overnight stay. It was very difficult to get to the hotel.

It's okay.
Bathroom is a really small. I couldn't closed the bathroom door because it doesn't seem work well. I was lucky that i was there by myself. There is only one electric outlet is available for guest. I think they should have one or two more outlets for guests to use.

Not worth the savings
You get what you pay for. Know that the price is very low for a reason. This is similar to a hostel, very bare bones. If you just need a place to sleep, are on a tight budget and don't mind feeling a little uncomfortable then it will be okay for you. Also, do not arrive late because they lock the gate to get in the parking lot.

For £26 this was an amazing deal. It was just a place to sleep during a long car journey, but bed was v comfortable, room clean. Had wifi and flatscreen TV. Bathroom is basic and plastic but did the job. And we had aircon. In a quiet neighbourhood. We had (continental) breakfast there which set us up for the morning.

Clean Hotel - nowhere to eat nearby
Took us quite a while to book in as system was down. The receptionist was very polite, professional and friendly and spoke several languages. We actually felt sorry for her as it was her first day! The rooms are small but clean, the bathroom is a tiny plastic pod/wet room but in great condition and fine for a short stay - shower was excellent. There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The hotel will provide you with a list of recommended hotels but will also advise that it is recommended to drive to them all! After 7 to 8 hours in the car travelling south we were not getting back in it, so went out for a walk. We found a lovely looking Pizzeria around two corners but its only open at the moment Thurs and Fri evenings (was being refurbished so this may be extended). About 20 mins walk away and over two busy intersections there is a Lidl where there is a KFC - sometimes you just have to do it!

Seemed to be brand new and maybe why the mattresses were a bit hard. Spotlessly clean and unused. Secure parking, but location in the heart of an industrial estate. Eating locally a bit of a problem, but KFC nearby and some other fast food outlets.Just off Motorway and fairly easy to find.

The staff of this hotel were extremely helpful and the parking was convenient but the room was tiny and featured a bunk bend over the double bed. This was a hazard and I had two painful bumps to the head from it.

great location, so close to the motorway as we used it for a stopover for UK-Barcelona drive. Staff service was perfect. The room was really clean and exactly what we needed. Really comfy beds too and close to a supermarket and petrol station. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
