"Almost perfect - 1) the location was great (I could stroll into old town if I wanted, supermarkets around the hotel were easily accessible, my room had fantastic views), a well-maintained basement parking is a god-sent in winter, the hotel has a good restaurant if you felt lazy heading out for meals. Just 2 things to improve on - 1) Upon check-in, when I paid for parking and tourist tax, the sum didn’t add up. But the difference was minimal (about SGD5) and I was tired, after a long day so didn’t bothered to follow-up. It would be good to provide the breakdown or receipt; 2) Toilet doors need better insulation, it gets loud for the person in the room (trying to sleep) when someone is showering."
"Very accommodating stay. My key got stuck in the door, so they put me in a larger room. Hotel in heart of Brno, just don’t expect too much English to be spoken."
"This is a great location to stay in Brno. It is a pleasant walk through all the sights of the Old Town. The included breakfast and parking was wonderful for us. Though it is an older hotel, I highly recommend it."
"The property seemed to be in the middle of construction/remodel. The apartment itself was spacious but was unfinished. The space under the tub was untitled, the floors in the door frame were missing separators, and most importantly, there were no window coverings on any of the windows, nor was there a shower curtain or door. It felt like we were given a room that was close but just not quite finished. Also, we were on the 6th floor but the elevator only went up to 5. Better than nothing!
If those things were in place, the space would have been very nice. It was very roomy and centrally located. The apartment was easy to find, super closer to the train station, and within easy walking distance of all the sites we wanted to visit.
One thing for American travelers to note, is that to open the door, you have to turn the key all the way and push at the same time. That gave us some trouble at first. "
