Great room in a perfect location for exploring Luang Prabang. Only downside was that there was a little bit of damp in the room and the room was quite dark with minimal natural light. Staff absolutely lovely and so helpful. Breakfast delicious too
Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast choices are good

Staff were great, very helpful, even when we kept breaking the toilet .
Breakfast was simple but delicious. Fresh baguettes straight from the bakery.
Aircon was a bit dodgy, but there was a powerful fan to make up for it.
Location was suberb on a side street from the main restaurant night market drag
Great hotel in a great location, close to the river, attractions, and dining options. The breakfast staff was very nice, and the front desk staff was super helpful with transportation to and from the airport/train station. On a rainy day, they loaned us umbrellas.
The location is good, you can walk anywhere in the city within 10 minutes. It is quiet because it is in an alley. The service was friendly and the breakfast was good.
very peaceful location and good value for money. it is off the main road and requires a short walk making it most suitable for those without a lot of heavy bags.
The hotel is very close to the main street which are full of restaurants and shops so very convenient.
Staffs are very kind and friendly.
I enjoyed staying there.

Hotel/guesthouse was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast plentiful. Great location!!
The only problem was the plumbing in the bathroom. When showering the water stayed on the floor instead of going down the drain immediately. The staff provided lots of extra towels to soak it up though.

Friendly staff,Room was decent, but tv didn’t work and no hot water
Lisa was an excellent host and did everything she could to make my stay at Thatsaphone wonderful. My ratings would have been 5s instead of 4s if the bathroom was better suited during showers and if I could have opened the one window (I was told to keep it closed and locked for security) during my stay. Otherwise, particularly for the price Westerners are used to, Thatsaphone is a bargain even with the noted issues that were fully manageable. I would not hesitate to stay at this property located right in the middle of Luang Prabang's Historic District.
Thank you, Lisa, for and excellent, safe, welcoming place to stay!
The room was a little old, the window opens to a wall, there were a couple webs around the ceiling, but overall was not bad. The staff were friendy helping with my laundry and arranging a drive to the train station. The only real complaint was that i had a room on the ground level and next to possibly their service room. My first night there, i was woken up by what sounded like a person smashing a steel pipe on the concrete floor at 5:40 in the morning. Believe me it was loud. That is not acceptable in my opnion. But besides this, i would recommend staying at this hotel. The staff were nice.

Surprisingly quiet in the middle of the busy part of the city.
We first explored the alleyway that leads to this hotel the night before we checked in and it was quite loud. We were concerned what it might be like in the room. But, it was pretty dang quiet. Noting, due to mosquitos and no nets on the windows, we did not ever open the windows. Luckily there is in room AC. They provide drinking water as much as you need and new bottles daily. The breakfast was great! Get the banana pancakes (very filling). Be warned, the banana milkshakes are more fit for a smoothie bowl, VERY thick. Laundry was very cheap - 30k/kg and finished by evening. Daytime hotel staff man was nice, but his English is not the best. I might have booked more tours via the hotel but I wasn’t clear on what I was or was not getting. We booked a trip to the cave through the hotel and paid in advance 200k per adult. My husband was not feeling well and didn’t go, no refund. Others on boat paid 170k. Room cleanliness was so so - you could see marks all over the walls where people have swatted mosquitos and killed them. We found a cockroach in the bathroom and took to covering the shower drain with provided “flip flop” - both to keep bugs coming up & to help with sewer gas smell which would come up.
WATCH THE HOT WATER! It’s SCALDING coming out, and I burned my arm out on the hot water pipe adjusting the shower temp touching it just for a moment with my forearm (now have a small scar). Overall, would stay again.
Great location and very accessible. Ms. Lisa (property manager) is very kind and responsive. She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. There are many restaurants within a short walking distance for a range of budgets. The room is spacious with A/C, hot water and a safe.
Thatsaphone greeted us well, friendly check in staff
Our room was on the first floor with an external private entrance, the room was spacious and clean, there was some water for us on arrival which was replaced each day. Towels were clean and also replaced each day. The bed was standard, good size, clean sheets etc. the aircon in the room worked very well and cooled us down.
We had a shared patio outside our room which was spacious and quiet, a nice place to unwind after a day exploring.
The bathroom was a little dark and the sink was a little broken, however it was clean, water was warm with good pressure and there was soap and shampoo for guest use.
They had a laundry service which we didn’t use.
The location was perfect for us, it was down an alley which meant it was quiet and off the main road. Walkable to amenities such as shops and restaurants, motorcycle hire and tuk tuks. Short distance to restaurants on the Mekong, the walk takes you through the temple.
