I expected no cell service but we had no internet the entire stay! It’s so sad that the property appears mostly abandoned since hardly any staff there and no one at the lodge. Couldn’t text or call for help and only saw reply to my text when we drove 12 miles to Sourdough Lodge which had internet! Lovely surroundings and loved the rippling river outside our door.

The check in process was super simple. A code was created and sent to us ahead of time so we didn’t need to meet with anyone for check in. The property was quiet and i was surprised there wasnt anyone out doing anything when we got there. We did get there a little later but thought thered be somehwere to buy a drink or snack afer our day of travel. We didn’t have any towels in our room whatsoever. In the morning we wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading to our rafting adventure. The espressso machine was down. They had breakfast burritos and bagels. The burrito was good but cold so we had to take it back to the room to warm it up. The bagel was also given to us cold and they were unable to warm it up. The property itself was beautiful and the room was clean.

It was clean beautiful. It would have been great if the restaurant was opened. We had to go to the inn nearby. There is a staffing shortage at the Inn. Would stay again. I would just plan better and bring food with me.

Amazing views of the river and the mountains! I set up a camera and was able to capture the night sky in ways I'm not able to when home. Truly spectacular! The only thing I can say that is even remotely negative is that the shower water is not purified, though there is a purified water facet in the room for drinking, which was great.

The property was beautiful but there was no staff there, no open restaurant or cafe- so be prepared to bring your own food- there is NOT much around without a drive. The room was very nice and clean and the beds were really comfy. Loved the view outside our door. Has a fridge and freezer and microwave and kcup coffee maker and there is a gas station/convenience store up at the corner that was really great to have. If there were staff and a restaurant there this would have been a home run.

Updated and clean environment with amenities like a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. Like most mountain towns, they did not have enough employees to open the restaurant or the bar so be sure to check before you book. I appreciated how promptly my text questions were answered as I had a few. Also the check in procedure is "no contact" but it went perfectly. Also within a very short period of time my deposit was scheduled to be refunded.

The area was beautiful but the service poor- the restaurant and coffee shop are closed and there is no staff on site. The keypad entry doesn’t work well and we were locked out of our room multiple times; when I called for help it took two hours for hotel staff to call back. Another patron had to climb in through the window. A different patron there the same night as us had a chipmunk in his room in his bed and couldn’t get it out of the room. The place has a lot of potential but needs some work.
