"Overall, it was a decent stay. Remember there is no room service unless requested by 11am, so plan ahead. Would have loved to use the pool early to do laps before families came to play, but you can't enter until 9am. By 9am we were out hiking and enjoying the area. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was decent. No sidewalks to walk around. Not much to do in that exact location without getting into the car. After being in the car all day to get to places the last thing we wanted to do was get back in the car after freshening up for dinner. No views. We didn't dislike it, but would pick a different location for our next adventure."

"Everyone was super helpful, especially after one of us had an ankle injury out on a hike. They were responsive and accommodating. The location to Boone and Blowing Rock restaurants was perfect. It had a great view and was very clean!"

"This is an older hotel but it is very well maintained. Has a quaint feel to it. I guess they used to serve breakfast at one time. Has an older fitness room but everything worked. Pool was nice. It had a nice outdoor porch. Walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops, the park and lake. We walked to the Moses cone manor from downtown. Would stay again,"
