"The front desk staff were polite even when our room was not ready, although it was about 15 minutes past check-in time. They got the room ready close to 5pm. We booked a suite, which was spacious- 2 rooms essentially, one had the 2 queen beds, and the other had a coffee table, sofa, lounge chairs, and desk with space to do work if needed. The shower and toilet were pretty standard. The breakfast was standard as well- nothing special: eggs, turkey sausage, oatmeal/cereal, pastries/bread, coffee. The garden with pond with ducks, turtles, and fish was a highlight with the kids. Overall was fine for our 3-day stay"

"The hotel grounds are pretty, nice pool and courtyard. The staff are super helpful and nice. The building is old so any negatives are due to age. There was an underlying funky smell in our room- like water damage musty smell. Clean bedding and towels but overall room felt like I didn’t want to take my shoes off. Again, just a dated building. Breakfast was very nice. Nice for a night and on a budget. "

"A bunch of people who did not sound like guests ended up doing drugs outside the rooms late at night. While the facility is fine the alley behind seemed to be an issue"

"My kids loved the pool. Place was safe and clean. Disappointed there was a $20/night parking fee for guests. "

"The only thing I can complain about is that the coffee in the lobby was not fresh and lukewarm at best. But - it was 3:30 am so.... Other than that it is a nice hotel and convenient to get to the Santa Barbara airport."
