"I am usually very happy with my stays at this motel, but this visit was a bit disappointing. I don't believe I requested an accessible (handicap) room, but that is the room I was assigned. Additionally, the room could have been cleaner, and overall it did not have the same level of comfort and appearance as previous rooms I've stayed in, such as Room 101. I have always enjoyed staying here, so I wanted to provide this feedback in hopes that future stays will meet the high standards I've come...

"Palihouse Santa Barbara is a fantastic boutique hotel in downtown, offering easy, walkable access to State Street and the beach. The rooms are incredibly clean, and our room's balcony provided the perfect additional space for outdoor relaxation. The staff is wonderfully helpful and welcoming. Best of all, it is highly pet-friendly—our dog absolutely enjoyed the stay! It is a great spot to come and enjoy Southern California. Will stay here again!"

"Staff was really nice, parking is a bit of a rip off as there would be free street parking available so I think they should inform you about it. Towel was only available for payment. Restrooms were pretty dirty."
