"Great hotel stay for a family. Unfortunately, the airline lost our luggage and it was convenient to have the mall right next door as well as lots more stores around us. We rented a car and there was free parking. Beds were great and air conditioning worked great, the only thing I wishes was there was a kettle as we are tea drinkers but not a huge deal "

"Small hotel in the bustling heart of San Salvador. Rooms are small but comfy. Street noise can be a little tough at night. TONS of restaurants and activities within blocks of the hotel. Staff was incredibly kind. The security guard offered to drive our car to the offsite parking and proceeded to give us an impromptu tour on the walk back. "

The Premium Lounge for snacks and refreshments available throughout the day was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good. It’s an older hotel, but generally well maintained, and the location is convenient, across from Bambu City Center mall. The Bambu City Center was also a meeting spot for our tour company, so that was very convenient. We had a great time in El Salvador and enjoyed our stay at the Barceló San Salvador. "
