"If you book a room at the Ala Mar Motel, the check in is at the Villa Rosa Inn which is like a 1-2 minute walk. Location has a very limited parking spaces but they do have additional parking in front of Villa Rosa Inn. There is no pool at this location but they do have a large balcony with couple of chairs and tables. If you are interested in the pool, the pool is located on Villa Rosa Inn. Ala Mar Motel is located just across the beach and it’s a like 15-20 minutes walk to the downtown Santa...

"Would have given more stars, everything was great except for two areas. First, the food is very basic, but we had heard that and there is great dining nearby. However, we were there for two nights and NEVER received maid service, even after going to the office (across the street btw) THREE times and repeatedly being promised service. Also, parking is very limited. Great location and cute property. "

"Lovely room, nice pool, cute area with community fire pit and tables for outdoor evenings. My only concern was the noise from the road, which was fairly loud as our room was right next to it. "

"Loved the lobby with the big plants and comfortable sofa. Enjoyed coffee by the fireplace. Front desk was friendly and informed us at check in to just let them know if we need anything and at check out asked us if we enjoyed our stay and to have a safe trip. "

Reception was closed when I arrived early and was told to come back after 3 pm Nothing special Staff Barely smiling and lacking basic hospitality. very convenient location and parking , Bed was dangerously high, old and noisy .
