My room was next to a back door that the personnel started using very early morning - closing the door produced significant noise waking me up. The room should not be used for guests. Further the location was inconvenient for me. We had to use taxi to gets to the bay where the restaurants are located. Breakfast was decent and appreciated.

First an formost, the staff really gives a damn about you and your stay. There where three times I was assisted, small things, yet alll making you feel as if they are delighted that you are there. Second, the bed... I swear this is one of the softest and welcoming bed... slept so well. The property is clean. I suggest if you are there more than one day get a room in the courtyard. The kitcheneet was way more equipped than I expected and when I return (I will return) I expect to use it as there is a Trader Joes across the street. I also see the use of the courtyard that I did not expect. It was taken advantage of by a few other travellers and its almost a stay cation spot with options. This place is a goldmine, perfect for what I needed and even more perfect for what I am planning in the future!!

The room was quite far away from main checkin reception but the reception guy called a bell boy for carrying luggage. The twin bed room was small compared to what is visible in pictures. 5..6 towels were provided,which was good. Fresh water for drinking was not provided and was major problem as the vending machine was far away. Breakfast didn't have too many veg options.

Our stay was quite nice. Room extremely clean. Loved the patio area with tables and chairs making it quite comfortable to have friends over for pizza or to visit during our stay. The front office personnel were always helpful and seemed very happy to be there for each guest. The offering for breakfast was quite nice with something for every age group. They have this fantastic pancake machine that is so fun and entertaining and worth the stay for sure!!!! We will definitely return to this site as the parking is easy in and out, the location is perfect for visiting Santa Monica, it is quiet, plenty of hot water, warm cozy beds and so very clean both inside and out. Lots of plants in hugh pots inside walking area and beautiful green plants and flowers in lovely colors grace the front of each gated building.

Absolutely outstanding stay. Great location, multiple excellent dining options within easy walking distance, and a Trader Joe's literally across the street for incidentals. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and convenient, and every staff person I interacted with was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The highest compliment I can give them is that I've already booked another stay with them for my next business trip and will plan to stay with them whenever possible while I'm in LA. Thanks to everyone at SureStay for making my business trip a genuine pleasure!

Very clean, friendly staff, and free parking in convenient location were all great. It’s on a busy street, so street noise was expected. I used a white noise machine and it was totally fine. The beds were good quality and we were pleasantly surprised. Overall a very good value, and I’d stay here again.

We stayed at the end of March for 3 days. The location was very convenient and felt safe. It's 10 min to Santa Monica beach, half an hour to Hollywood attractions and Universal Studios. Trader Joe's is next door if you want to buy some fruit, bottled water etc. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable (apart form some lumpy pillows). All necessities provided, such as fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, toiletries, even make-up remover wipes (much appreciated). Continental breakfast was convenient and sufficient (bagels, toast, cereal, pancake maker, fruits, boiled eggs, yogurt, cream cheese, jam, butter, coffee and tea). We were very much pleased with our stay. It is no luxury hotel, but a solid base camp for exploring your LA destinations. One word of caution: there is no elevator, ask for a ground level room if climbing stairs is an issue.

Convenient hotel with parking and breakfast included. The staff is super friendly. Unfortunately we were given the room upstairs at the very end of the hallway. The guests were using the backdoor at all time of the night, late night, early morning, to access the parking lot. The backdoor is so loud when activated that we were awakened several times by the loud noise. Besides that, the room was clean and large. There is not enough light in my opinion when using the sink that is inside the bedroom. Also, there is a timer in the shower/toilet room for the light. We could not figure out how to make it work, so the light would turn off while we were showering and we had to yell for the other guest to turn it back on. At other times, the light would stay on all night. Some instructions would be nice. This the one star off.

When I first drove up i was not expecting much, the building has an older design but well kept, the surrounding area going through redevelopment, I was quite surprised, the receptionist was friendly and receptive. The grounds were secured by a locked metal gate. When I walked into the room I went “wow this pretty nice”. Very clean and spacious, the room had a little dinette with table and chairs. Every tissue and towel was creatively folded (the little things). The bed was comfortable with plush bedding. I felt felt very comfortable staying here.
