The employees at this property and neighboring property’s are currently on strike (Local 11) and they have 35 people with an orchestra outside the hotels starting at 6 a.m. sharp. The staff working is not the most pleasant and it’s unfortunate because the hotel itself is very nice.

My room wasn't ready. Noisy protestors right outside the door. I ask twice for an email receipt, still have not gotten. Breakfast was served an hour later than it was supposed to.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. The mattresses are cheap spring mattresses amd the bed sheets amd blankets are thin and rough. The hotel is near the Santa Monica pier but the neighborhood is really bad. Lots of homeless people and we didnt feel safe to walk to the pier. And then the hotel workers were on strike in the morning banging on drums and blowong horns right in front of the hotel at 7am!!!

It definitely wasn't worth the money. We found a small cockroach in the room , we informed the staff and honestly they acted quickly on it and offered to change the room and sent pest control. The complimentary breakfast was below average I would say. There was no parking , even though they do have a garage inside and they only had valet for 50 dollars a night which is absurd !

If not for the amazing staff, I would of found my stay disappointing. The staff really made the difference given the limited nature of aspects of this hotel.

This hotel is one of only a handful of area hotels that has failed to reach a settlement with its union. I learned this the hard way at the crack of dawn when I awoke to the sounds of pandemonium outside the hotel. I learned a second lesion once my kids and I boarded the elevator. The protestors weren’t just outside of the hotel: they were freely given access to the. Real fast area with bullhorns, drums and other noisemakers. My hearing wasn’t the same after just a few minutes exposure to the noise levels. The pool area: forget it! The protests are so loud that you can’t hear yourself think. You can easily Google more to learn about this. Management ignored three separate attempts that I made fo contact them. They could care less. Honestly, I leaned a valuable lesson about crossing picket lines. Never this hotel again. Thank you in advance mr. Manager for whatever platitudes you offer on this remark. You ignored me while I was at your hotel. That’s what potential guests need to know. Caring on Expedia isn’t the same as caring while i am still a customer.

They charged a full rate for a room at a time when their employees were loudly on strike blocking the front entrance of their location shouting and banging drums. The rates should have been cut or even cancellation offered with relocation to a different property.

I was clearly informed by the valet that parking would cost $15, and there was a sign in the garage confirming this rate. However, upon checkout, I was charged $50. This was significantly higher than the $10 to $20 range typical for parking in the area. When I expressed my concern with a call to the front desk, I was told that $50 was indeed the price I was quoted. The similarity in the sound of the amounts and the substantial difference from nearby garages feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. Had I known the actual cost, I would have chosen alternative parking options across the street, where my friend paid only $20 for 24 hours.

Beautiful spacious clean hotel in Sta Monica with very adequate gym — treadmill elliptical annd peloton bike with weights and biceps machine and heated pool spa facilities. Includes regular breakfast. Coffee was great!Nice beddings and interiors. Available Spectrum channels. If you’re in the middle floors, recommend ear plugs to avoid hearing the fan and the upstairs occupants.

The staff was disinterested when trying to check in. The TV didn’t work in the room, had to call maintenance. There were no cups for the coffee maker. The room was very noisy, could hear people in room above. There was no self parking. We had to pay an extra 55.00 for valet parking. I can not recommend this hotel

The location is very convient to walk to shops, cafes, restaurants. The train station is literally accross the road to go sight seeing. We found it easy to get to the museum and crypto stadium. However the road is noisy at night and the screams of the locals are haunting. I would also like to add dont leave your aircon on at night as we were awoken by a very pungent aroma at 4am each morning as someone in the circulatory system was obviously choofing up the dankest skunk ive ever smelt. Not ideal. Overall good. Could be better.

Receptionist at the front desk was very rude and did not treat me with the same respect as the customers before and after me. DRUMS, AND PEOPLE DURI THE WEEKEND
Hi, I'm asking for refund money because, I'm upset about the incident on the past weekend, me and my wife have a long night to previous Sunday Morning and we decide take rest all day On Sunday but early in the morning start a lot of noise drums even on the breakfast, we decide to move other place all day because, we needed rest very well for next Day, that's our inconvenience during the staid.

Tons of noise from the hallways, room next door and room above. We had to call the front desk multiple times about the noise above us. Although the noise is out of the hotel’s control, the building is not sound proofed enough. I’ve stayed at multiple other hotels and this has never been a problem.

Comfortable hotel room. The parking at $50 a night is excessive and would only stay as a last resort. I have stayed many times at this location and Hilton Honors is no longer acknowledged by offering a bottle of water. As a VIP member of Hotel.com I guess I excepted a little more.
