Besides the smell of the building, our stay was comfortable. The rooms were smaller than expected and I could definitely hear the neighbors next door and upstairs.

First of all, there's a smell everywhere, reminiscent of air freshener but disgusting, enough to make you want to throw up. It's a very small room with no space to move around. There's no window view, just a straight wall of the adjacent building, very close.

Front desk agent was rude and sarcastic when asked where parking was located. Desk was not busy but he acted as though it was an inconvenience and distraction to do his job. Although the room was quite small, it was nice and clean.

The location was excellent. One thing that is not listed on the property website is that there is NO ELEVATOR! You will have to carry all your luggage from the ground floor to the first floor to check in and then take all your luggage to whatever floor they put you on. Hopefully you are in shape for all that exercise!!!

This is a charming, beautiful , quiet hotel that is also a historical hotel. The latter is what makes it so cool. Its also very clean and located in a central location. It’s so old there are no elevators so beware. We loved it!

Nice location
It is clear they are working to update the hotel, can use some brightening up and new carpet but clean, quaint and the staff was very nice. Location was fantastic, an easy walk to everything Glendale.
