Beautiful new hotel, I got a great price on Expedia so it was worth it and then some. Lots of amenities and killer views from their 38th floor lobby / restaurant. Only slightly annoying thing is they charge a $30 resort fee but do give you $30 food and beverage credit which I used for breakfast. All in all, one of the best hotels in DTLA.

The staff were amazing and the commodities were great. We had an amazing room with a great view. the only complaints i have are that the AC would not kick in and so we would get uncomfortable.

Enjoyed everything about the property especially the the distance to the peacock theater. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Level 8 atmosphere was nice. Will definitely be back in the near future.

I wish there were more ice machines. We were on floor 11 because originally on floor 16, our room looked like someone was there already. The ice machine was in room 15 but we didn’t know that til we went to customer service. You guys should put a sign outside in the hall stating where the nearest ice machine is located or something other than that, loved it & will stay again!

Rude front staff, gave me attitude when I was simply asking about charges to the room. The bathroom in our room was not cleaned and wet used towels were on the floor when we walked in. When I called, someone just came to pick up the towels and did not clean the bathroom. I called for extra towels and they never brought them. Also, I was not allowed to go to a restaurant in the hotel because I was wearing a jersey. I just wanted food didn’t want to party. WAAYYY too many elevators for no reason. I would not recommend and would not stay here again.

Was disappointed during our trip here. When we arrived we had asked if any rooms with a view were available and the manager had said not yet since we showed up an hour before check in. Which was fine, however I was willing to wait until check in time to get a good room. Instead he said there was a room available for us and then when we got to our room it ended up being right above all of the ac units so that was the "view" we got and on top of that we were right next to the housecleaning closet which was very loud to be next to. So I had went back to the lobby and asked for a different room and the front desk employee laughed at me and said "I can't just give you a new room if you've already got a room." I've traveled hundreds of times before and I know that statement is not true. So I had asked for the manager again he was a little more helpful and did say it was at full capacity for that night but he would be able to get us a better room with a better view however we would have to switch to a room with two queen beds instead of the one King we had reserved which was fine for us. After we were satisfied with the room we had planned to check out the restaurant and bars this hotel had to offer but then went to try the rooftop bar and it was reservations only. So we made a reservation for the next night but then when we went up at our reservation time the sign outside of the rooftop bar said it was "closed due to weather" but there was obviously a big party out there going on.

We literally had the worst experience at this hotel ever and we are big travelers. we booked our room at the AC four months in advance. Checked in at 5:30 PM.( they begin checking in at 4 PM.) we were given our room. When we went to our room I noticed this is not the room I booked for $575 a night.. I did a little bit of research and saw that they actually bumped us to the sister hotel next-door called Moxy. Definitely NOT an upgrade:( I called down to speak with the manager and he told me that yes we’re in a different hotel I said, why were we not told while checking in and he stated he is really apologetic and agreed to comp our first night stay. He stated that the AC hotel was completely booked. Five minutes later he called our room and told us that there is a no-show. Our room is available at the AC property. That is extremely sketchy since we had checked in two hours earlier and we’re bumped to the Moxy and now, after we have found out that they’ve been lying to us they have a room available. We agreed to pack our stuff and move to the AC property in our pajamas. Standing at the check-in counter with the hotel manager in our pajamas, with three suitcases at hand, we were told that we are not getting the first night comped, but we are welcome to a free breakfast. We are so lucky that we did not have to stay at this property with the sketchy staff at the front desk. We were rudely offered a refund and we accepted. Our room restroom had sitting water all over the floor, had sitting water all over the counters in the restroom. The countertops in the bedroom were dirty, like never wipe down the bench that we can put our luggage on was dirty floor close to the window was dirty. They asked if we wanted to switch rooms we told them no just have somebody come clean it so we stepped out so they can clean it. The reason why we didn’t want to switch rooms because we seen our friends room and it was super small and our room was a handicap room so it was big. There were lots of extra charges, not just what was displayed on your app, they charge us twice for valet, and we still have not received our credit so I will not be staying at this hotel again.
