Nice property and excellent location. The downfalls I would say are the pillows are horrible and go flat (I used two pillows and it did not help) it the shower walls were grimy and the fixtures in the bathroom were rusted.

Moonwalker restaraunt staff were 5 out of 5, and Richard was fantastic, as well as Jamie! They both went above and beyond with their quality of service. The rest of the staff were mediocre at best, unfortunately. The room was not clean, nor was the bathroom. Lots of hairs and toothpaste all over. I called repeatedly for extra blankets both nights and they never arrived the first night and came an hour and a half late second night.

This Hyatt property is a nice spot in the middle of a very busy downtown area. This is not at all what we were expecting based on the photos advertised on Expedia. The location also was not what was expected. The area is extremely unsafe for tourists to the point that the hotel staff cautioned us about walking around the local streets. At night, even though we were on the 7th floor, the noise from the streets below kept us awake most of the nights. I will never stay in Long Beach again and hope that Expedia will improve their advertising -example -there are absolutely no beach or water views from the building as advertised and walking to the waterfront is not safe. This is an extremely industrial town. Having said that, the Hyatt itself was a clean and friendly atmosphere.

PROS: Had a great experience from the moment we arrived! We had 2 car seats, 1 stroller, 2 backpacks and 1 large suitcase. Andre, the doorman immediately came out with a trolley and helped us load it up while we wwre trying to get the kids sorted and as we were checking in he stayed close by to hear what room we were in so he can walk a head and took our luggage up. Once we got up to our room, Tracy had just finished preparing it (checked in at 10am) and offered us extra towels. She had also over heard us noticing we needed to request a crib and she took it upon herself to have one sent up. Wonderful genuinely friendly service. The room and bathroom were spacious. Right beside an outlet centre, 5 min walk from the aquarium, 15min walk from Vons, clean safe area. CONS: lighting in the room was a bit dim for such a spacious room, the constant loud revving from cars. Summary: would stay here again!

Beautiful hotel with great style. Parking was across the street and about $16/day. A bit of a walk to the beach, but a lot of stores nearby.

This property was great and conveniently located. It was next to a good amount of restaurants and shopping stores and there were also restaurants that were walking distance. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The staff make the 4 star property a 5 star. We go back here again and again when staying in LA because of good value, location, and truly good staff service from Juan and Darnell specifically. If they take care of you you're in good hands. The free water bottles are a huge plus as well!! Shout out to Juan and Darnell who are so good at their jobs you remember their names!!
