We spent Easter weekend in Mexico for Semana Santa, which is one of the most popular holidays for Mexicans besides Christmas. The weekend consists of parties, spending time with family, 4 wheeling, and going to the carnival. For such a small town, they do the celebration big!!! There is no shuttle to the border from the airport. Uber/Lyft is also terrible in this area. You're best bet is to find an independent driver or business that is willing to work with you on travel. We ended up getting the dental office to help us with this. The hotel is ok. Just ok. There's no microwave ...
