They charge $25 if you check in early. I never have a hotel or inn or motel ask a fee before check in time. The staffs are very not friendly at all. Also the room key didn’t work on the 2nd day while we stay there 2 nights. When we asked for clean towels on 2nd night, we have to wait for 1 hour to get it and we needed to pick up at front desk by ourselves. What kind of service is that.

When I come to check in no one was at desk until night shift arrived. Heat/air did not work properly way to hot in the room could not adjust heat. Room needs a lot of work to update. When I went to front desk in the morning to ask about it the man was asleep behind desk in a chair.

Excellent hotel
Spacious room, friendly, attentive staff, very good breakfast with fresh oranges (we've been in inns featuring breakfast for the last 6 nights -- thi was he only one to have fresh oranges). Plus, a few hours after we left, we realized that we forgot a bag of laundry in the room; we went back and it was waiting for us at the front desk.

Rough check in.
We arrived an hour early and even though the parking lot was empty the hotel’s policy is to charge $25 for an early arrival. We asked if the room was ready and they said it was but they could not sign us in without the fee. Since we already had our luggage brought in, we said we’d wait an hour in the lobby, at which point they said they would check us in. Ridiculous policy. My late stay at a Comfort Inn and Suites.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites from 10/13-10/15/2023 having traveled from Denver to see the annular eclipse. The hotel staff were friendly, the room clean, and the beds comfortable. Road noise was minimal, even though the hotel fronts the main street (Trinity Dr) through town. We also enjoyed the central location. We walked the mile to the high school for the eclipse community viewing event, and then on the way back, visited the Nature Center, the History Museum, and the Bradbury Science Center, which we HIGHLY recommend - plus it's FREE - which had amazing displays about the science being carried out at Los Alamos Labs, as well as a great exhibit on explosives in general. LOTS of hands-on activities for kids too. SO much to see and do - all within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable, room was small (sink not behind a door but rather in the entrance way), but that was a good trade off for affordability. Clean, smelled good, heater worked well, relatively quiet. Coffee available all the time, as was plain and flavored ice water in the lobby

Quiet, Clean, and Efficient
Showed up pretty late, and was exhausted. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient, giving us the most conveniently located room, in order to get in and get to sleep as quickly as possible. The hotel seems new. Everything was clean and in good, working order. Safe and very quiet location.

Probably the best comfort inn I’ve stayed in. Aside from typical breakfast, it had decent beds, excellent Wi-Fi!, a safe, good lighting overall and for reading, and even a blanket in closet if you find the comforter too hot. Quiet, but it’s in los alamos.

It was a great place to crash for the night on our trip. We traveled at night and did not realize that the drive took us up a mountain with no lights. We are on an adventure and that is what we got. We made it safe and enjoyed the amenities.

Would give this property 5 stars for cleanliness and comfort. The windows are paper thin, so if you have a room facing Trinity (busiest street in town), you better bring earplugs if you want a decent nights sleep. The curtains aren’t quite long enough to block out the light either, so I suggest an eye mask. No matter what temp you set the A/C on I don’t think it will go below 70. It’s noisy and seems to cut off every 20min - another reason for earplugs. It is absolutely the best location in town though, so I would definitely stay here again, but would pack accordingly.
