"The 2 triple rooms we had were perfect, one had a fabulous renovated bathroom, but both rooms were modernly decorated and ideal for families. Food in their bar was excellent and reasonably priced, with a lovely atmosphere. If only the breakfast dining room was as nicely renovated! Breakfast was adequate but not as much on offer as other hotels. Staff in all areas were excellent. Parking was tight in underground but still great to have it! Will recommend the Newgrange Hotel! Leixlip Manor Hotel

"This was a nice escape from the traditional hotels. We wanted to stay outside the city to start our tour of the western part of Ireland. Please note that this is an old manor (built in 1700s per staff) that has been converted to rooms. There is no air conditioning and the rooms are rustic. We loved it and enjoyed the experience. We were provided fans as we were on the second floor and it was warmer than usual. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. There is a horse on-site and you feel removed from all the hustle of the city and town. A short drive away there are multiple options for shopping and meals. We had dinner at Arthur’s, which is where Guinness was first served. We had the breakfast at the manor, which was very good. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay here again. A real hidden gem. "
