Pool area is excellent. Staff are very friendly. All staff spoke enough English to accommodate visitors. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but it was convenient and set in a nice open-air dining room.

Good

The hotel was located right in front of the beach, making it perfect for snorkeling. As soon as I entered the water, I saw a turtle, and relaxing on the hotel’s beach was very comfortable. The room was very spacious and private. I will definitely visit again next time.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely loved the staff as well as their service and all the staff always ready to help you with a lovely smile Breakfast was so good. The pics what you see on the website it’s just like that pool was so nice. Really I can’t say anything untrue about this property. If you can guys stay bit longer great food great clean rooms, oh I forgot to mention huge room very spacious huge bathroom 👍

Comfortable large room and bathroom

Unggul offered a basic, comfortably large room with a small terrace and two folding chairs. The bathroom with shower, equally spacious. With little endeavour the place could be so much prettier, especially changing the chairs and table on the terrace.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Unggul. As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home and our room was spacious, clean, and cold — a welcome paradise after our long boat ride. The villa felt private and was perfectly situated, just north of the strip of bars and restaurants. The beach was right across and there was plenty of space to lounge. We opted to swim in the pool which was so relaxing and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend Villa Unggul more highly. As we rode around the Island with our bikes, I kept noticing how the garden vibes of our Villa were better than almost all others. The only, tinniest comment I have is that the water pressure for the bidet was a tad weak. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

Great location, huge rooms

Perfect location on the island. It's it's north east, 1.4km from the port. The night life it's just 10 m walk going south. Nearby is plenty of eating options, a nice spa , a great bakery with ice cream, various bike rentals, the resort pool has a nice size and few chairs lounges around it. They have a nice stretch of beach with many chairs lounges. You are practically in front of turtle point, so plenty of turtles just there in front. Obviously in front of the narrow beach there are quite few boats and nearby is the place where all snorkeling tours drop the people to see the turtles, so it isn't a quiet stretch of beach, but it's plenty of cool, laid back little places, with bean bags and music to relax. The room of the hotel are huge and cute! The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is basic, but big too with all you need. For breakfast you can choose from 3 different menus: 2 continental types and 1 local. For us it was just nice!. Staff is kind. If you want a mid range place, simple, small, but comfortable, in a very good location, i would surely recommend it.

The best of both worlds

Great location just off the main strip (so quiet but within a stones throw of the action) with great beach access, nice rooms and friendly staff. Great value.

Great stay!

Great room, great service. Great location about 10-minute walk from the heart of Gili T's nightlife. Right in front of Turtle Point, where you can go just steps into the water and see turtles swimming around. Be prepared with your own toiletries, and outlet converter (you can buy one at Gili Mart). The food in Gili T is amazing.

Avoid like the plague!

Stayed only one night, apparently we go the last room. Bathroom had a smelly paint smell, air conditioners barely worked, had to ask for a fan. WiFi issue all around. Pool was not refreshing! Felt like bath water. Food sub par! I would never go back! Once and done!

Villa Unggul is perfectly located just about a 10-minute walk from the fast boat pier, on the main road, and has the sea turtle beach with snorkeling and ample marine life right across the street. What I also love is that they provide beach towels and have beach chairs and lunch/ dinner restaurant service on it. The breakfast by the pool is delicious and they do have late night snack age (I.e. French fries) available, as well as countless restaurants nearby. Staff is super nice. Clean facilities. Wi-Fi works well. Tv is hit or miss (worked in dad’s villa but not in mine, but I didn’t ask them to fix it so my bad). Refrigerator and AWESOME a/c. Ground gardens are also very nice. Loved our stay and would stay again, if we return to Gili T!

Poor customer service

We got met by a unfriendly man at the front desk, who demanded us to pay for our stay. We showed him the confirmation that our stay was prepaid and taken care of, but he did not even try to understand and instead we felt like we got accused for something that wasnt right. We experienced poor communication skills and unfriendliness several times during our stay, with the people at the reception to the fact it got uncomfortable. The other staff working around were nice.

Jättemysigt ställe. Fräscht och rymligt. Trevlig personal med humor. Strandläget är perfekt. 30 meter ut från strandkanten simmar havssköldpaddor. Ett enda minuset på hela veckan var att jag inte kunde förklara vad glutenintolerans var för personalen pga bristande engelska.

Villa Unggul was central to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained and clean. I stayed for 10 days and the staff made me feel at home. I will definitely be staying there again next visit

I believe this was the best hotel on the entire island! Resort was stunning, always clean, and directly across from the beach. Pool is beautiful, pool bar is always populated because of the fantastic “happy hour” deal and they make some of the best drinks I’ve ever had! Rooms are huge, clean, AC always worked great. 10 min walk from the boat drop off location.
