This was, without a doubt, the most beautiful stay of my life. I arrived as a girlfriend and left as a fiancée, carrying a heart full of love and memories. Staying four nights in the tent was a transformative experience; the rhythmic sounds of the rushing water and the tropical rain truly put us in a peaceful trance.

"Communication was great, host was helpful and replies were in a timely manner. Room was clean, my dislikes shoot room is there is no counter or dresser space, had to use kitchen table. Also, we only had hot water the first day, the rest of our stay was cold showers. There are no pool chairs around pool, grill had no propane tank. Scenery was gorgeous and it was very quiet and peaceful. "

"The whole master bathroom was flooded from the toilet with a very strong sewer smell. The bedrooms where in very bad conditions. The sliding doors almost impossible to open. The kitchen cabinets in very bad conditions, the jacuzzi wasn't working property. Beautiful location but; the building needs an update.
We pay way too much for what we got. "

"What an unforgettable, fantastical, and peaceful place! Nothing beats the VIEW or falling asleep to the sounds of nature - rain, coquis, leaves brushing, birds. The host was so kind and accommodating! The room was very clean and thoughtful details throughout - fridge, mini stove, A.C., sitting areas. "Good location. The cons: Struggled to close door, door lock not functioning. For safety reasons I attempted to contact host to inform but no answer. Host informed the following day and said that door locked automatically once shut from the inside, but at no time did one hear the automatic lock. "

"We were in apt #2 of Casa Pelayo
Cleanliness:
The shower hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. It had hair and dirt. We contacted management who apologized and said cleaning would come the next day. They didn't. The floors, of course, got progressively dirty throughout our 4 day trip but there was no broom and "extra cleaning" would have come with a fee so we ended up wearing shoes inside. Towels were never changed....for a four-day.
