"Hotel is fine for the price incl. a good breakfast buffet and parking. East to get to a P&R with charging and take the bus into Edinburgh. The hotel bar in the evening was not too wide a choice and when it got difficult to make a cocktail they stopped serving cocktails and only offered easy serves."

"Everything was perfect!! I had always wanted to stay in a Scottish castle and this one was perfect and just outside the city. We drove about 10 minutes to the train station with free parking and then it’s about a 10 minute train ride to Edinburgh. The rooms were very cute and spacious. The food was outstanding! We did afternoon tea with a view of the garden and could not have asked for a better experience."

"We spent one night on our way to the airport. Two things to note: the hotel is right beside a very busy train track. If you are a light sleeper, then you should absolutely bring earplugs. Secondly, it costs 15 pounds to park overnight as the car park is privately operated. It's the first time I experience that, and given the price we paid for the hotel for one night I found it usurious. It is also not disclosed until after you book."

"Great location and lovely staff. Apartment was just the job for our Edinburgh stay. Clean and tidy enough with everything we needed. Did get very warm inside and the walls are quite thin so if you’re a light sleeper you’ll need ear plugs. Car park underground is handy and safe. Does have a lot of pigeons nesting there so if you want too avoid getting too much bird poop on your paintwork be careful where you park or take a car cover."
