"These are essentially glamping pods. They are so nicely designed and decorated. Very cozy. They even had face clothes, the only hotel on the entire trip that did. I have learned to pack my own for trips to the UK. The only downside was that we had to park in a car park and walk up a hillside on uneven gravel to reach the unit. They took our luggage up in a golf cart. But they wouldn't offer a ride to us. As seniors, it was a bit of a drawback for us."

"This property is a former hunting lodge and has some fabulous character and charm with some updates that enhanced the property, including a beautiful restaurant offering locally sourced dishes. "We had a fantastic stay at Taigh Duitseach in April 2024. Checking in was very easy, the property was lovely and clean, the breakfast was exceptional and lovingly cooked in front of us by Jim and Paulline who were very kind and welcoming. "A lovely little cottage on Uig Bay owned by the hoteliers of the Uig Hotel. A wonderful breakfast was included at the hotel a 10-15 minute walk away. Our room had an ensuite and a beautiful view of the bay. Parking was easily accessible. Information on dining, historic places, hikes, pubs, etc. was readily available from the hotel staff. Service & staff were exceptional. If there was ever a place to get lost & press the reset button, the Isle of Skye was it for us! Enchanting."
