"This hotel in Pitlochry was a convenient stop-over when we were en route from Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye. While there are lots of things to see and do locally, our schedule allowed us to stay only one night. The rooms were comfortable if on the small side given the angular walls that followed the roof line. The beds and linens were fine, and the rooms had a nice modern shower. "This is a traditional pub property. The building is 900 years old and the WiFi doesn't work if it's raining--which it was. There are wonky steps. A few things are a bit dinged. But the room was comfy, the bathroom was modern, the food was great, the staff was amazing, and you cannot beat the view of the falls. If you want to stay somewhere with character, this is the place for you."

Loved the high pressure insta hot water & super comfy bed. Great location for walking to dinner each night.
