"What a wonderful place to spend a weekend away from it all. Everything was perfect except that we only stayed for the weekend. We shall return very soon. "

"The house itself is lovely, the room was very comfortable, the beds were heavenly, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were accommodating when we had some delays checking in and out. The shower was the only downside--it was very hard to get the water to turn on and the water pressure was weak."

"I am rooting for these guys! It’s a beautiful place and we loved staying in Oban away from the tacky ocean front area spots. We loved the views and the grounds and the library with the assortment of whiskeys. Here is a photo of some highlights! The library and the peacock and the views. Looks like a castle. "

"In a great location in the centre of Oban, with most of the places you would want to visit within walking distance. There is a convenient car park across the street if you need it. The building is old and full of character, which inevitably impacts on the accommodation - with some ingenious planning of the en-suite bathrooms, but this is more than made up for by the Scottish welcome from the knowledgeable staff. "Excellent self-check-in hotel on the A83 looking directly into a stunning view of Loch Fyne at Inverary. Lovely garden with seating area for relaxing, eating, drinking or just taking in the view. Well appointed room and with fridge, kettle, tea, coffee. En-suite with fluffy towels, cotton buds, soap and shower gel. Close to lovely cafés and bars of Inverary and walkable to the beautiful castle. Would recommend!"

"Totally wonderful, the view from the dining hall was stunning. The staff were great and so helpful. It was a birthday treat for my wife, and there was a lovely box of chocolates from the hotel in our room, which was a lovely gesture. The food was exquisite, so all in all it was a perfect few days in paradise 🙂🙂"

"What a stunning location , looking over water and mountains , the staff was very friendly , food was exceptional , the room was spacious with clean comfortable bed , excellent shower , really would of liked if we could of had a room at the front overlooking the bay , but we had dogs , and only rooms available for dogs was at the rear , but all in all an excellent place for our holiday , many thanks Jeff and Toni "
