"Room was smaller than anticipated. I thought we were going to get what was advertised, a room with French doors and a view. We unfortunately did not get that. The walls are very thin as well. We were woken up at 6AM by the garbage bins getting slammed around. The little street that leads to hotel parking at the back of the building is an extremely steep hill. We scrapped our car multiple time entering and exiting. Didn’t matter how slow we would approach the steep hill. Overall, okay...

The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It’s like your staying in the middle of magical garden. It’s also walking distance to State St shops and restaurants. 5 stars all the way!"

"This is a really nicely updated motel turned inn. The single standard rooms are very small but they do a great job making the bathroom large enough for when you move from the living area to the bath. The furniture and accessories are all nice. We only found a couple housekeeping misses when we checked in with some hair on the white bedding and some spilled mexican food on the swivel chair but I cleaned it up right away and it was easily forgotten. The girls at the front desk were very nice...

"This was a great location for our weekend stay with easy access to places including restaurants. It was clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of great restaurants in a short drive. Room was clean and bed comfortable. It is a 2 story buildings and no elevators which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for some trying to get their luggage to their room."

"Loved the location - near the beach, but not directly in Downtown Santa Barbara where it can be loud. The property had comfy beds and very quiet. Also enjoyed the free parking! The breakfast was good - upgrade from a typical Marriott but not gourmet. Nice they had coffee for a while in the morning. Wish I brought my swimsuit to use the pool in the future."

"Our go to hotel, right on the Main street with dining and shopping options all around. Cozy mini rooms. love the concept. Modern minimalist. Bar has the best craft cocktails around with several mixologists. a must visit.. even if you don't stay here."
