"Friendly staff. Clean. Sink is outside the bathroom which can be awkward. Breakfast was good. The lobby has dark wood which is dated but looks like a lodge. No elevator but entry to rooms as on the inside which is always safer. They allow pets for a fee which means rooms probably had pets before. But it was clean. Close to Great Sand Dunes as you can be. It’s 30 minute away but other than this town, there aren’t closer choices."

"AJ at the front desk was very helpful and always very pleasant. It is nice to have a hotel that serves breakfast with a few hot items to get a quick start in the mornings without having to leave to look for a restaurant. That is one of the things I always look for."

"The bed sheets were dirty and had hair and sand grits on sheets. The staff was quick in resolving the situation. Clean sheets and knowing that you are crawling into bed are such an important part of the stay."

"Qwerky old stuff abounds. I should have called to let them know I was running. The gentlemen on the phone was very accommodating when I arrived. Only issue was I couldn't find the "lobby" for the continental breakfast, bakery in the market down the street had great cinnamon rolls. Would stay again."

"Excellent place to stay, lots of room for grandkids to build snowman, have snowball fight, and roam safely. Home is very comfortable for grandparents, parents and 2 kids. Three bedrooms, each with king bed made this very comfortable. Everything was clean, in good shape and the kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. We will stay here anytime we visit Red River."
