"The hotel is easy to find and check-in was smooth. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Lots of variety in food offered. The room was clean but very warm. It was uncomfortable to sleep through the night. There was a fan in the room but it was not enough to make the room comfortable. Air conditioning is sorely needed."

"Only suggestion is the overhead lighting in fluorescent bulbs. A bit outdated and cold. Very comfortable beds, kitchen fully equipped except for scissors to cut. Pleasant entrance and foyer. Excellent organization for airport transfer, at any time. Bus stop into Ljubljana just a 5-7 minute walk away ( although it comes only once an hour). Nice walks into farmland and forest, leading to long-distance hiking if you so desire."

Its location, next to the church and the river, is beautiful, with stunning scenery all around. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. The room was comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel genuinely well looked after. I would most definitely recommend Hotel Planinka and would happily stay here again."
