I think Ljubljana is beautiful alovely place to stay.my hotethe boutique asteria was good.really friendly staff and i had a simple but lovely breakfast. My room was good the bed really comfy my only downside was a old small shower and the soap holder was rusty but otherwise excellent close to centreof Ljubljana 10 min walk and 15 mins to bus station and rail station thankyou

Excellent location, handy to bus/train station. First room we had, 2 steep steps down into bathroom and bedroom window was high up and street level. Asked to get moved which was not a problem. When returned to the room that evening there had been a water leak from a radiator which was quickly moped up and to be repaired the next morning.

This cute little hotel was a great location, just a short walk to the bus station and train station. The staff was super friendly and offered suggestions of things to see. The hotel was very warm, and although advertised AC, would not turn on because it wasn’t hot enough outside. We couldn’t open the window because the flies kept coming inside. Also, they put us in the closest room to the front of the hotel, which was right on the other side of the wall from where everybody eats breakfast in the morning, so it wasn’t quiet at all. Also, the curtains didn’t completely close, so since we were in the front of the hotel, the front light outside was shining directly into our room the entire night, so it was super bright. Also, the morning we checked out, we still had about an hour before we had to check out, and an employee to clean used a key to open our door without knocking or checking to make sure we had checked out before coming in to clean…very awkward, but fortunately we were already packed and ready to go.

This hotel has a lovely boutique feel — small, cozy, and very clean. The staff were excellent from start to finish, especially the receptionist, who was so kind and helpful. The omelette at breakfast was delicious! It’s about a 15–20 minute walk to most main attractions, which was perfect for exploring. One thing to note is that staff are only on-site until 10pm, which was a bit different for me, but everything still felt very safe and organized. The room itself was small but spotless and totally fine for a short stay. I’ll admit, I was a little nervous to stay here since it was outside my comfort zone, but I’m so glad I did — it turned out to be an excellent experience!

Unsatisfactory hotel

Staff efficient, 10 min walk from Rail/bus station and 15 min walk from centre. Hofer(Aldi) nearby. Basic cooking facilities provided I presume in all rooms. This is not a 3 star hotel. First room offered was like being in a dark prison cell, second was only other one available was small/cramped but at least has a proper window. Bed was against wall on one side, pulled it back for access and noted mould. Evidence of rising damp. Floors tiled and cold. Perhaps upstairs is better but ground floor rooms very unsatisfactory. Got another room following day which was more spacious but again rather basic. No safe, TV selection OK. Breakfast/reception area narrow with awful floor tiles. Breakfast was basic but OK. Cooked omelette was nice. Very disappointed, boutique hotel moniker is having a laugh.

The staff were lovely and the room was decent; the surrounding area is on the edge of Ljubjana it felt, but still easily walkable to the bus station and to the city centre. There are two lovely Bosnian resturants next door and nearby we visited and a Aldi/Hofer supermarket too. It was very affordable and the breakfast was the lovely adition. I would definately recommend this hotel, but there are a couple of improvements I hope they can make before your stay: Unfortunately there was what looked like a coffee stain on the duvet cover what I'm not sure how it would have got there considering there was no kettle in the room; and there was a blue stain on the towels, otherwise the room was clean. Unfortunately on the last two nights the airconditioning remotes were taken away as it was no longer considered "hot" that time of year, despite our room still being very hot and stuffy so we had to keep the window open constantly including when we were out in the day and at night to little avail; this meant at night we heard all of the traffic outside our room (including the many ambulances as it's right next to the hospital), mopeds starting up and trolleys being wheels across the paving stones; I can't say we got much sleep on those two nights which is unfortunate as otherwise I could have rated it more highly.

Litet, charmigt

Litet hotel med knappt 15 rum men mycket rent. Personligt med endast få personer som arbetade där. Dessa mycket positiva och tillmötesgående. 15 minuters promenad till centrum. Mycket fördelaktigt pris med frukost.
