Overpriced and not well managed. We had paid £55 for an en-suite room but had no electricity all evening in the room and no water all evening and night. When the water was fixed the next morning (as we were leaving) there was no hot water. The kettle in the kitchen broke, half the hot plates did not work, there was no adaptor for the toaster. In short nothing seemed to work. For one of the most expensive hostels we stayed in this was very disappointing.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review us and I profusely apologize for the bad experience. We have improvised the 12 hours of no hydro electric power supply with a generator which we run in intervals, Livingstone and Zambia at large has experienced huge drought which has led to lots of Power outages. We hope you come back one day so that we make it up to you. Happy Travels Faith - General Manger

This is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed at, whether in Africa or elsewhere. The room: 4 beds, but only one mosquito net? There's also no wifi in the rooms (only in the lobby). Electricity only works after 10 pm. Bathroom: There's a communal bathroom for all guests. The shower had no less than 100 mosquitoes in it. The toilet stall had no less than 50 mosquitoes in it. This is inexcusable. Also, make sure you bring a flash light at night because the bathroom is pitch black at night before the power turns on at 10 pm. Lobby: Internet sometimes work. But guess what, you'll be swatting swarms of mosquitoes the whole time you try to use it. In sum: This hostel was nearly completely empty when I was there. There's a reason why...

Quiet and lovely. Located a little bit far from downtown, but within 15 minutes walk. They can help to book activity. We went to the jollyboys backpackers first and found out it's quite noisy and crowded there. The staff took us to the campsite(they are owned by the same company). I prefer the campsite.
