"The room fantastic, the surroundings lovely and there is potential to be 5/5. However we had two problems body there made worse by temperatures close to 40C. When we arrived here was nobody there to receive us so we were stuck at the gate for 1/2 an hour until I got the attention of a guest by sounding the car horn. Guests finding a number and ringing on cell phones IS NOT an alternative to reception and for us from overseas not an option. Secondly the air conditioning only worked in fan mode...

"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. "The room has excellent views in a space that oozes character. The shared spaces and rooftop terrace were a very cool added bonus. We stayed in the blue suite and found it spacious and comfortable. The only slight issue was a faint odor coming from the second bedroom. We didn’t use that room and closing the door solved the problem for the rest of the suite, but it is worth noting. I know some people will complain that it is on the third floor and there is no lift, but frankly if this is an issue...
