"The location of this hotel was very quiet and private - not much around but that is what we wanted. There was one really good restaurant walking distance to the hotel that had beautiful sunset views. The beach is about a 10-15 min walk from hotel and they also provide a shuttle to the beach. The beach had white sand and beautiful turquoise water. You can have food and drinks at the beach club but if you want to sit at the lounge chairs and use the beach club pool you pay $30 per- person which seems a bit silly when the beach and the pools up at the hotel are free. There was a dj and live singer each night at the hotel providing a lovely ambiance. The hotel has amazing views of the sunset. The pools are both very nice - one is adults only. The drive into the town of Santa Teresa isn’t far but it is up winding roads. The concierge helped us make a dinner reservation at a nearby Agriturismo which was an excellent experience. Hotel room was very nice - clean and bed was comfortable."

"I booked this hotel the last night so I’m close to the airport. That was a great decision but the hotel is good even for longer stay. It was a surprise. It was lovely. People were lovely. The food was good. Everything was wonderful."

"Absolutely beautiful property. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. We loved our stay at La Pitrizza!! Only suggestions would be to upgrade tennis/padel courts and refurbish spa. Both nice but not at same caliber of overall property."

"The property is beautiful, staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms were bigger than expected, basically apartments, and the view was wonderful. This was a family trip for our mom's 70th birthday. We booked 2 rooms, one of the rooms was in the building w parking. That was helpful for mom bc there are a lot of stairs and hills everywhere. My mom was disappointed they didn't have an iron she could use, but they did offer laundry service. The resort has staff with golf carts that will bring you down to the lobby if needed and assisted with the luggage. My only recommendation for the resort is with the parking in the building we stayed in, there should be a mirror or sensors to let an entering or exiting car know that another car is there. I was up the winding hill when a van wanted to come down and wanted me to reverse down, I didn't feel comfortable doing that especially being in a rental. Luckily a staff member was behind me and guided the van to reverse back into the parking area so I can move forward. The van driver wasn't happy and give me a nice Italian exchange of words. Any time I drove in or out I made sure to tap the horn to avoid this issue. Overall I would stay here again, it felt safe, friendly, and homey. Also, in a great area."
