I stayed in the top floor room 4E. Check-in was very easy, and we were even able to check in early as the room was already prepared. Before booking, I had read the reviews, so I was well aware of the steep steps leading up to the fourth floor. While it may not be ideal for those with heavy luggage, it wasn’t a problem for me as I only had a backpack for my one-night stay. The room itself was lovely, well equipped, and included a balcony. The only noise came from some nearby road works, but it was minimal, and I still slept very well. The location is excellent—close to tourist sites, evening bars, and with a supermarket just a two-minute walk away. It really does tick most boxes. I have no complaints at all and would happily stay again as the price was perfect.

Apartment is nice and roomy and quite clean. Area was quite perfect and central as well. As many reviews mention, be aware of lots of steep stairs! Also the other downside for me was stains on the sheets. But overall great stay!

Great apartments in bairro alto

I stayed here for almost 3 weeks in December-January. First time staying here and was great. The apartment was an exceptional value and quite nice and i really liked the location. If you’re looking for quiet at night i wouls not stay here or anywhere in this area as you can sometimes hear sounds from the street at night. If that doesnt bother you and you don’t mind climing some very steep stairs (common in this psrt of Lisbon) then I'd definitely recommend staying here. It's central to so many restaurants and nightlife and other things to do - i hardly even needed to use transit, just walked everywhere. And the front desk staff are very helpful and responsive. They clean about twice a week too and you can arrange the days/times with them. I've already booked another stay here in the summer.

Really nice appartment. We enjoyed our stay. Unfortually, it’s not well insulated therefore, the people upstairs and in the stairway kept us awake. Other than that, cool spot !

Amazing place, good location, tram next to bedroom

The apartment itself is amazing, great living room and the garden is perfect for the summer. Location is 9/10 in Lisbon. Just so you know, the tram goes right next to the bedroom and there is also a bar next door that have some laud techno from time to time. During the first night (Wednesday) we could not sleep in the bedroom because of the bass. They only give you one set of keys. Cleaning fee is visible on the bill the cleaning we got during 5 days was one set of new towels.

Unpleasant stay

We had a week stay at Ama apartments. There is a very steep staircase to enter the apartment with about 60 steps. Almost like a ladder. The apartment was tired and needed a paint job with miss-matched furniture. The main issue we had was with our bed that was too noisy to sleep on. Ama offered to change rooms but the room they offered was with more stairs and no closet space so we refused. They reimbursed us for one night and the next 6 nights we ended up putting the matress on the floor each night, which was very painful for our backs (Since the box on the bottom was broken and made the noise) i asked the hotel if they can just change the box or even remove it from the room but they said it was not possible. Over all it was an unpleasant stay for us.

地理位置很好，雖然對面有一個屋頂酒吧會有音樂傳來，但沒有超過12點，加上床的房間再有一道門，這將不是問題。 隔兩個街口就有超市，購物方便，房間乾淨，只有狹小樓梯上樓本來就不是新鮮事，但若行動不便或行李太大可能真的很辛苦，總之，我非常喜歡這個住宿的一切。

Ejendommen ligger særdeles centralt i f,t. lækre små spisesteder. Der må ligge +100 af slaggen indenfor en radius af 500 m - fantastisk. Lissabon er en total dejlig by: sympatiske mennesker flotte, gamle og hyggelige kvarterer, og for nogle måske krævende med de mange op- og nedstigninger. Vejret: supergodt sommervejr - sidst i september.

Apartment was clean and well kitted out. Maybe not so suited for three fellas staying as space was limited, perhaps it would have suited a smaller group or a couple. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant, only a short walk to most areas of interest. Finally, If your looking for a workout then your in luck, the stairs are not for the faint hearted. Like most streets in Lisbon they are steep and long! See Attached😂

Excelente localização e atendimento muito bom!!! O unico ponto que eu acho que vale uma ressalva é o fato das escadas serem muito inclinadas e de dificil locomoção para algumas pessoas, especialmente idosos.

Zentral, direkt an der Linie 28

Wir hatten das Apartment mit eigenem Garten und haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Lärm der Straße wurde durch die Fenster sehr gut abgehalten. Die Treppe zu den Zimmern ist wirklich sehr steil, den Koffertransport übernimmt aber gerne das Hotel.

Genieten!

Mijn verblijf in Ama Apartments was in 1 woord geweldig. Ik had het appartement met de tuin. Gigantisch groot appartement, super netjes, geweldige badkamer alles wat je je maar kan wensen! Ook Gustavo (receptie) was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie is ook perfect. Zeker een aanrader!

Very nice and clean apartment hotel. The stuff is totally friendly and helpful. Located in the middle of the city, all important places are easily reachable. Highly recommended!

Beautiful little apartment, wonderful staff

I highly recommend this place! The apartment was lovely, very clean and modern. The staff were outstanding and were really supportive throughout our stay. The apartment is in a lovely area, about 5 mins walk into the centre, close to the metro and train station. Amazing place!!! Don’t miss out on this little gem.

In ottima posizione al Barrio Alto nella stessa strada del tram 28, appartamento ben arredato con letti comodi, personale gentile. Per accedervi c'è una scalinata molto ripida ma tenendosi ai passamano si fa anche con i bimbi.Sarebbe comoda una mensola in bagno e una luce più bassa in camera da letto, nel complesso tutto bene

Veldig gammel bygning og bratte trapper opp til rommet/leiligheten vårt som lå øverst!! Men fantastisk service av personalet som bærte koffertene opp og ned for oss. Kult og gjennomført interiør, kan anbefales men ikke av personer som har vanskelig for å gå i trapper!

Great Stay

Nuno and his staff were so helpful and welcoming. Our flight arrived early, and Nuno arranged to take our bags so we could explore Lisbon. He texted us when our apartment was ready. He also arranged to have a staff member help us with our bags at 4 am on the morning of departure. I highly recommend this pleasant and centrally located property.
