"Kudos to the cleaning staff. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was pretty bad coffee ran out there was no hot food 30 minutes before closing. very noisy inside the rooms. 3 of us only got a couple hours of sleep per day over 4 days. Multiple people I spoke with said the television didn’t work. My wife reset the router and got it to work. I’ve stayed here before with better results. Spend a little more money somewhere else to get a quality stay. I won’t be back again."

"Our experience at the Best Western in Manhattan, Kansas was very disappointing. After arriving for check-in, we were repeatedly told that our room still needed to be cleaned and were asked to return later. When we came back around 11 p.m., we were given the same explanation despite the late hour. When we asked for clarification about the status of our reservation, staff asked us to leave. We were also told that booking through Hotels.com does not guarantee a room. The communication and handling of the situation were extremely unprofessional and rude, especially during a busy weekend when all of the other hotels were already booked up. Where were we supposed to go in a small town and no hotels?"

"Property was clean, room was clean, towels were very soft and water pressure in the shower was good. TV didn't work. Everyone checking in was having trouble with the keys to the room working. We had trouble every time we used the electronic key. Breakfast was very limited, we didn't stay."

"Always have stayed at the Bluemont. However, this time, was different. When I booked the reservation almost a year ago, breakfasts were complimentary. One of the reasons I liked staying there. Apparently the hotel has changed hands and they now charge $20 for breakfast. Also there is a charge for overnight parking of $17. Both of these would have been nice to know thru Expedia before the stay because that’s not what I reserved! But because it was Graduation weekend, room rates were ridiculous compared to any other time of year, and now having fees for everything makes it much less appealing. Good luck to Bluemont. We will be changing our next reservation there. "

"Overall the place seemed clean and the staff were very friendly. My only complaints are that the water pressure in the bathroom room was low and the water took forever to get hot as well as the body wash in the shower was completely empty- didn’t realize till I was already in the shower."
