"My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It was a great home base while we explored local trails and Grandfather mountain. The employees are all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was the comfiest thing ever. Our stay was quiet, exactly what we needed and over all I would definitely return for another mountain adventure! "

"Were it not for a hurricane, the grounds around the main house would be beautiful. The owner/operator family, like other victims, is building back as quickly as possible. The interim condition of the exterior shows what they went through. The unaffected main house and our guest room were well-appointed and very attentive. The breakfast buffet provided to all their guests was extraordinary extravagant, as delicious and varied as you’ll find anywhere! A true 5-star experience."

"We enjoyed a very restful visit. Friendly staff, our room was well appointed with very comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor seating area for relaxing, enjoying lemonade and popcorn during the afternoon and coffee during the morning. The grounds are beautiful with an abundance of flowers.
