"Arrived at 16:30 after a 4 hour drive and parking a 2 minute walk away to be told that the hotel had “had a power outage” and ten rooms were now unavailable. Was given the option of staying in their sister hotel, Cove, a ten minute walk away, or a full refund. We took the refund and walked to the Kimpton where we received excellent customer service. Poor customer service to not be called or emailed prior to our arrival, and I would assume the hotel was overbooked rather than having a “power...

"Very conveniently located and well fitted out apartment room with generous courtesy provisions supplied as well. Very handy secure parking in basement for an additional charge. Only minor issues were lack of air con (room gets warm even with windows open on a mid-September day), no microwave and a slightly soft bed. NB Rooms on third floor on Park Place side also overlooked by taller balcony flats opposite."
