The white line on the floor marks the room where Billy the Kid was chained to the floor awaiting his hanging date. He escaped and shot and killed two deputies during his escape. The room was removed during renovations to turn "The House" into a courthouse.
This secret Grand Masonic Lodge is located above the billiard room in "The House", which is now the Old Lincoln County Courthouse.
