"The facility is still going through a remodel of all the rooms. Entry door felt loose but did lock properly. Mattress was of a much cheaper quality and neither my wife or I slept well due to it. The bathroom door was hung improperly and needs to be either shaved in the top left corner so it will shut as it should. Need to re-caulk the entire shower, especially where the tub meets the floor. Water pressure and shower head were good. Clearly second hand end tables by bed were clean but very worn. A simple sanding and spray painting would do wonders, same goes for the desk. Highly recommend different front window curtains, the room was exceptional bright for sleeping due to the 20 foot tower light in the parking lot, 30 feet from the front door, and the lighting on each room entrance, (all outdoor entrances for rooms). the staff was courteous and tried to assist where they could. This is only one of two hotels in the town of Monticello, and the better of the two. "
