"Breakfast had a lot of variety, the river next to the hotel was gorgeous, the room was nice and clean and large, the staff were nice and welcoming, it was very quiet and i slept very well"

"The property was beautiful. It was fun to be right across from the lake. The cabin was nice and had everything you needed. It was quite a drive from West yellowstone, but beautiful, and we enjoyed driving up to earthquake lake the next day. Our only issue was that the walls between the 2 cabins were so thin, we could hear the family on the other side. They had a fussy baby and she woke up very early crying all morning. We had to turn the fan on in the bathroom for white noise so we could sleep....

"The hotel's website says they serve breakfast daily. They do not. The hotel is clean and conveniently located. The night staff was friendly. The beds are very firm, hard to get comfortable. But overall it's a good hotel. "

"front desk staff were helpful but housekeeping didn’t empty the trash so we collected a lot of waist. parking was always available but this place is 20 minutes from west entrance. breakfast was good, just ran out of items during busy time"

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Desert inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was full but parking was not a problem. Breakfast was typical fare but plentiful and way above average. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. What we didn't like was that there was no wash basin in the toilet, so germs going on the door handle if you didn't wash your hands in the bath. The wash basin was actually in the bedroom. That was a problem for my wife trying to sleep while I was up...

"The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very large and comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of items to choose from and was open until 9:30 am, which we appreciated. The location was perfect as it was a quick 5 minute drive to the entrance of the West Yellowstone National Park gate."

"The chlorine content of the hot tub was so high that we didn’t last long in it. It was stinging our eyes and burning our throat. It even bleached my swimsuit! But other than that, I was satisfied."

"Property was nice and easy access to the Bozeman Airport. Only complaint was it was raining and snowing outside, and I turned the heater on which it was making a loud annoying sound. Was making a loud noise the whole time I had it on, so I had to turn it off. We had to be up at 3am, and nobody was at the desk when we left. So I called and made a complaint, and never heard back from anyone about the issue."

"It's a little off the paved roads and it was towards the end of winter so the dirt road was icy and very wash board in areas. Definitely recommend 4-wheel drive to get there. Everything was amazing at the property except the final hill that climbs to the cabins which had fairly deep ruts, I'm sure due to the time of year and the exceptionally warm winter of '25-'26. There is limited eating options in the area, so plan accordingly. Also note that cooking options are limited in the cabin as there...
