"This is part of the bar on the high street. All the locals use it and there is much shouting and door slaming at the end of the evening. Then very quiet. Staff were very helpful despite my lack of Spanish. "

"The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the rooms to the left, to the right, above and below. If anyone chooses this hotel to use the Spa - don’t be fooled. You have to pay extra and the use is timely limited. All in all it has a alternative hippie charm. It was clean though. But not necessarily something I’d recommend "

"Estancia agradable. Apartamento grande y comodo con un jardin comunitario muy agradable. Esta bastante apartado de las zonas comerciales y ocio, el coche es necesario para cualquier cosa. Algunas cosas a mejorar: alguna pared con humedades, instalacion electrica con algun problema (luces parpadean o no se apagan), hormigas en cocina, desague ducha, sofa pequeño. Por el precio que pagamos no es mala opcion como base para ver Cantabria."

"el paraje es idílico. para visitar el valle e interior de Cantabria es perfecto. Cuevas muy cerca, el nacimiento del río Asón una maravilla de ruta que comienza justo en las Casucas. "Charming country inn with gracious helpful hosts. Jose and Nuria are wonderful hosts, providing stylishly decorated rooms and common areas, lots of good advice for enjoying the area and delicious dinners. We were sorry to leave their home and would highly recommend staying here. Just take Jose’s advice for the best route up to the inn instead of what looks like the shortest route on a GPS site—which was more difficult tiny mountain roads."

"I would have rated the property much higher save for two issues. The good part was that the property was well located for us near major routes. It was spacious and clean. The bad part was that we didn't have any heat for the first half of our stay when outside temperature was 2 degrees. The other problem was check-in which supposed to be from 4-8pm but there was no-one there. After an hour we had to have someone call as their message service wasn't working. 15 minutes later someone arrived...

"From start to finish customer service excellent. Room decor shower bathroom mini fridge slippers and robes complimentary water and cleaning every day if needed. Free extended checkout for one hour and 10 euro pr hr after that. Massive help. Close to restaurants bars shops ice cream parlours excellent bus service to take you to city centre and towns for €1.30 each way. Taxis and ranks on hand. €6 euro to puerto chico next town full of eateries bars and by harbour. Only downfall of hotel is no pool and not a great menu in restaurant and bit of an odour so never ate there. Has a gym and salons and specialised delicatessan next door. "
