"There were dogs in hotel and barking. Rooms were worn (marble sink was cracked and awkwardly caulked - not to classy. There were dents and furniture chips. Very worn . Requested towels but never received since on maid visit they took towels. Asked front desk but no one ever came - poor service. Smelled musky"

"The absolute best hotel i have ever stayed at. who would’ve thought out of OH, MD, and virginia beach, this hotel is the best. Like i was truly sad to leave. It was just a half way point from VA beach to home OH. We had the best time. They have a hot tub and pool, which had no people when we went. a fire pit and a grill. very good breakfast, a cozy bed, a nice shower bath with good water pressure, the TV had a smart setting so we could watch our apps. "Restaurant in the lodge is breakfast only 7 to 10. Property is older and musty. The room in the first floor was noisy. Heard everyone and everything 24/7. All other amenities and activities are in separate buildings all around the property. Restaurant, gym, pool, spa etc.. Shuttle is available. BUT this is really for golfers or hikers. This is not for the elderly. I was disappointed and checked out early."

"One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed In over the last 20+ years of frequent travel. First, there is not enough parking in the motel as it appeared many guests are living there. So you have to park in the overflow across the street, not the end of the world but not ideal. Also, upon arrival, we noticed one side of the building was completely caved in from an apparent vehicle ramming and caution taped off. Again, not earth shattering, but not a great aesthetic either.
