"I really enjoyed my solo week away with this hotel as my base to explore Mojacar and the surrounding area. It was a cheaper option to others so I was a bit worried, but I didn't need to be,
I spent quite a few days by the poolside, much of it with only a few other people around sporadically. The area around the pool was excellent and very well maintained.
Inside the bar/restaurant has a lovely open veranda area right on the beach, which was great. It was used for a christening and golf event a couple of times during the week but there were always other seating options inside and out.
Breakfast was a good mix of continental buffet style with an option of sausage,bacon,egg & beans if desired. The few times I ate there there in the evenings the food was fantastic, especially the fish and chips!
The room whilst basic had everything I needed; a free safe, air con & a large fridge.
(The air con & fridge were quite noisy when on but that's why I travel with ear plugs!)
The lady doing the breakfasts was fantastic all week, providing lovely coffee and service, even allowing me to get a continental breakfast before the 8am opening time as my bus was at 7.45am.
If my travels take me back to the area again I'd certainly book here once more!"
