Only negative would be there isn’t much options for food when you go beginning of August as most places close for hurricane season. Latoya was able to help us find some amazing restaurants throughout the island though. We will be back "

Where Chenkos is located isn’t that far from tourist areas also so you really get the best of both worlds. "Overall, my stay was quite good. The environment and location were great, and the host was very friendly. The only areas for improvement were: the seasonings were a bit limited – salt and pepper were almost gone; laundry detergent needed to be brought from home; and the shower water pressure was a little low. Aside from these, everything else was perfect, and I would gladly recommend this place."
