Only negative would be there isn’t much options for food when you go beginning of August as most places close for hurricane season. "This was my second visit to Hommage Hotel. The gracious staff and lovely grounds make it a perfect place to get away from it all. There is a gym. a beautiful pool, a lovely restaurant and bar. The bartender remembered what I was drinking from two nights before. It's that kind of attention to Detail that makes this place special. Baie Rouge Beach is within walkable distance. Also within walkable distance are a grocery store, pharmacy, bakery, and several restaurants. I do not rent cars when I go...

"The room was clean and the A/C was on when we checked in. The bed was very comfortable. You could hear flights leaving and departing from the nearby airport but that stopped around 9:00pm. The beachside location was great, easy 5-10min walk to nearby restaurants and the free loungers were a treat. The owner, Mike, was very personable."
