"The location was beautiful. Great views.
The check-in process wasn’t the best. When we arrived, no staff was at property. We found a note on the door with a telephone to call. The person who answered advised that she would be there in about ten minutes. A man arrived in about that time and walked us in, gave us room keys, instructions on how to get in and out of the building and information about the breakfast hours then left. We didn’t see anyone else until the following morning.
When the room was booked it said breakfast was included; however, after we had our breakfast we went back up to our room, gathered our things and walked down to the lobby to check out. No staff was at desk, so we left the key on desk and headed out to our car. As we loaded up, the lady who was working at the breakfast area ran out to stop us saying we needed to pay. I was confused since we were told breakfast was included, however, I did not question or argue the situation. I apologized for the confusion, paid, and left.
Except for this incident, our 1 night stay was okay. We really didn’t expect much since we only needed a place to sleep and shower. I do think having staff available for check ins and check outs would work much better."
