This was a unique and beautiful experience before starting our Camino walk. This monetary converted into hotel and event centre is perfectly restored and remodelled with beautiful rooms. Food was excellent and bedding perfect.

Absolutely out of the ordinary experience. Rooms are super comfortable, with excellent temperature control, and with excellent water pressure in the bathroom. If you want an experience in an exceptionally well maintained establishment with truly unique character, this is the place for you. Parking is easy and right next door. Bars/restaurants within very easy walking distance.

Our room was comfortable. But the free breakfast was so bad that on the second day we bought breakfast in a nearby cafe. On our second night there was a party with amplified music that was held in the courtyard and that didn’t conclude until midnight.

Great base in the city centre
Very comfortable hotel in a beautiful building. It was really useful to have secure parking as part of tge hotel offering as we were using hhe stop as part of a wider trip. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city centre

A lovely place to stay
We enjoyed our one night stay in this beautiful old building. The hotel was a fantastic mix of classic old building and modern, comfortable room. The staff were very helpful. Get directions for the parking before you bring your car. With directions the parking is easy to find, and is next door to the hotel gate. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but had a nice coffee and cakes in the morning before we left. The location is very central and within walking distance to many sites and restaurants.

Most important is their parking. Twice this long weekend, I stayed here, once in their "September" room, once in their "August" rooms. Both rather large, bathromms, specially big. Breakfasts was superb, ad well as a lunch we had.

This is a fabulous place to stay. Beautifully appointed, loved the art and it's very central. I've rated it a bit lower as the hotel didn't communicate just how difficult it is to find the carpark. It should be on any instructions confirming the booking. We drove around Leon for 90 minutes trying to get in. In the end we gave in, parked the car (a challenge in itself) and went in to get help. Staff were very friendly but advised us that we had to go up a street that says no access to get to the car park. But if you don't need to park the car - go stay, you'll love it!

It was well located, the hotel was nice, a little disappointed that the room did not have a safe or refrigerator in the room, which have experienced in lesser quality hotels.

Only stopped over for one night. Would have liked to stay longer to learn more about the history of the hotel and see more of Leon. Very nice staff and had the cutest waiter at dinner. All were very helpful. The rooms we had were adequately appointed.

Really interesting and comfortable hotel in an old monastery. Friendly helpful staff and parking right in the middle of town. If you stay here, don’t miss the tour of the building and the museum. Incredible Romanesque frescoes!

This is a very unique property and not for everyone. A former monastery converted to hotel, the room are "monastic"/ simple. Do not expect luxury. It was very clean and although our bathroom was quite small, it was supplied with the usual amenities and very clean. We booked it for the aesthetic and historical aspect of the hotel and we not disappointed. The staff were very professional and welcoming. The surroundings were magnificent. We fell asleep listening to the sound of a fountain in the courtyard. It is very easy to walk to the old part of León from this hotel. Parking was ample and the breakfast included was very, very good. We recommend this hotel!

Fascinating hotel in old monastery.
Very atmospheric. Lovely inner courtyard for dining. Had a wonderful meal with music. Included a tour of premises plus remains of monastery. Rooms and beds quite comfortable but would have preferred air conditioning to the fan provided. Has quite roomy parking either in front of hotel or in area adjacent to it. Well situated for strolling around the town. Hotel a little difficult to find initially.

Unexpectedly wonderful!
We could hardly believe we'd arrived at the right place when we arrived through the pedestrianised area in front of the basilica. The entrance is magical, through the arch into the courtyard. Our room on the second floor was cool despite 29 degrees outside, and the bed was superbly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with everything we could wish for. A truly memorable stay at a bargain price.
