"happy the pool had reopened. No hair dryer in king rooms. They did give me one when I asked at desk. but would be nice to have one in the room."

"I have stayed there numerous times' Always an excellent experience. clean Peaceful and excellent breakfast. Was my favorite motel in area. My check in was terrible. She said my card was declined. I showed her my paid receipt. Then she re ran my card again and said declined again. I showed her my bank statement where there was now 2 payments out of my account. She was argumentable . Said it was the storm. The I got upset. I asked for my money back and I would stay somewhere else. She said she couldnt. I Feel the correct procedure was to give me the room since I had 2 kinds of proof and work it out later. I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS MOTEL BRFORE. I was coming back in 2 weeks for a swim meet. An unhappy experience. The lady just needs more training in customer service."

"This is a great place to stay. Very convenient to the interstate and the historic downtown. The checkin process was very fast and efficient. The desk clerk went out of her way to be helpful. I think her name was Sherry. Great breakfast and checkout also."
