Hotels near Lavaca Historical Museum

"I booked this online and reserved it. They charged me $96 on my credit card (I didn’t know they had charged me until I looked at my card days later. I thought I was going to pay when we got there. When we got there that evening, they said that there are no rooms available. So we left and stayed at another hotel in Schulenburg. I realized days later they still charged my credit card online. & he is REFUSING to refund me even tho we didn’t stay there cz they said there were no rooms left !!!!! "

"Good clean room, with amenities you would expect. It has a real ice machine, the old style that you scoop instead of hold the button and wait. It was nice I’d recommend. The breakfast is mostly cereal and microwavable stuff. "

"I will never stay here they could not find my reservation and then to come to find out, the property had actually canceled my reservation and saying they had my consent. I did not give my consent for them to cancel my reservation. Why would I’ve given them consent when I was trying to contact Hotels.com the entire time that I was sitting there. They were rude and disrespectful. My husband said from the beginning he thought that they were the ones to cancel my reservation and they were. I will never go through them again"

"AC noisy, rattles, needs to be repaired, not able to sleep. Floors\carpet dirty needs yo be vacuumed. Not an unpleasant smell to the room. "

"Breakfast is kind of a joke. They should do a little more for their patrons adding fruit would be a suggestion or yogurt."

"The breakfast had terrible coffee, the light was out in our bathroom over the mirror, and the soap dispenser in the shower was empty too. The beds are clean and sleep fine."

"The parking is fine. There is no staff on site. The air conditioning worked great. I do have to say, though, there is a smell something like “mothballs?” that followed me home in my clothes. Overall, it was fine. I would stay there again. "
